This cable is required to upgrade/retrofit the On Board Computer on a Porsche 986 Boxster and 996/911Constructed using the genuine Porsche connecting blocks and connectors needed to connect the steering column switch to the instrument cluster.Simply connect the cable using the supplied connectors to the OBC stalk, and then insert the other ends into the correct instrument cluster connector position and screw the earth onto a convenient place behind the dash.A simple neat solution for your upgrade.Fitting instructions are openly available on websites such as Pelican Parts, BOXA.net and renntech - We can send you the links if needed.This auction does NOT include the OBC stalk, you will have to source a secondhand item or buy a new one (approx £180 UK).For the upgrade to work you will need to get the additional functionality enabled on your car (we can perform this for a modest charge if you are local).
